Athletes and sports fans around the globe have celebrated a significant milestone for the 2012 Olympic Games, with 100 days to go until the event in London.
Events to commemorate the special day kicked off in New Zealand, closely followed by Australia and the rest of Asia.
London and New York continued the party with athletes and entertainers performing in Trafalgar and Times Squares.
The opening ceremony for the Games of the XXX Olympiad takes place on Friday, July 27.
