Kate Middleton has shown her support for the 2012 Olympic Games by joining the Great Britain hockey squads at training in East London.

The Duchess of Cambridge showed off her sporty side at Olympic Park, Stratford.

Middleton took a while to get into the swing of things but was soon in fine form, having served as captain of her school hockey team at Marlborough College.
