Melbourne welcomed home members of the Australian Olympic team, with hundreds turning out to cheer on their favourite athletes.
Gold medal winners Anna Meares and Sally Pearson were the headline acts at Federation Square.
Sprint cycling gold medallist Meares said it was great to be back in front of a home crowd, having competed in a volatile velodrome filled with Great Britain fans.
Victorian Premier Ted Baillieu accepted a T-shirt signed by the Olympic athletes from rowing silver-medallist Drew Ginn.
