The second edition of Olympics BMX is set to thrill fans following its successful introduction at the 2008 Beijing Games.

Australia will enter the competition with high hopes, with it's male riders dominating the BMX world circuit. Be sure to follow teenager Sam Willoughby, with Caroline Buchanan leading the green and gold charge in the women's.

The mountain bike event also has some promise for Australia. Daniel McConnell was Australia's only representative at Beijing in 2008, but there are quite a few more Aussie riders in the mix this time around with the men having already earned a quota place and the women also pressing hard.
