Australia has never won a badminton medal and try as they may in London, our representatives are unlikely to break that drought. The simple fact is Asian countries dominate this sport.
China, Indonesia and South Korea have won 23 of the 24 gold medals awarded since badminton debuted at the Games, at Barcelona in 1992. Expect more of the same at Wembley Arena.
