Cook Islands winger Jordan Rapana will give Sonny Bill Williams a run for his money when it comes to the worst bombed try at the Rugby League World Cup.

The Raider had crossed the try line against Tonga when the ball inexplicably slipped from his grasp.

Rapana's shocker comes after Williams was left red-faced in the match against Samoa when he slipped over the dead-ball line before grounding the ball.
