After leaving the NRL and AFL behind, serial code-hopper Israel Folau has now signed a one-year deal with Super Rugby franchise NSW Waratahs.
Folau was expected to return to rugby league but negotiations with Parramatta Eels took too long and the 23-year-old was lost to the NRL again.
Despite the short-term contract Folau says he would like to play for the Wallabies one day but that his main focus is on learning the game with the Waratahs.
