The world's top eight women's tennis players have gathered in Istanbul for the season-ending WTA Tour Championships.
Serena Williams will be aiming to add the WTA Championships crown to her Wimbledon and US Open titles won earlier this year. World No1 Victoria Azarenka won the 2012 Australian Open while Maria Sharapova won the French Open.
Petra Kvitova is the defending champion at this star-studded event, while Agnieszka Radwanska is a three-time champion.
