Europe has retained the Ryder Cup after staging the biggest comeback in the tournament's history to beat USA at Medinah Country Club in Chicago.
The Europeans trailed USA 10-6 going into the last 12 singles matches but Jose Maria Olazabal's men thrillingly won the first five matches on the final day.
Europe made sure they couldn't lose when German Martin Kaymer defeated Steve Stricker in the penultimate match, with Tiger Woods only able to halve his match against Francesco Molinari to hand Europe a stunning victory 14.5 to 13.5.
