Melbourne Storm win NRL Grand Final

Melbourne has beaten Canterbury 14-4 in a tough grand final to win the 2012 NRL Premiership.

The Storm’s second legitimate title, and their first since their 2007 and 2009 premierships were stripped from them in the wake of the salary cap scandal, was won on the back of heroic defence in the second half.

Emotions in the tough encounter spilled over when Bulldogs prop James Graham allegedly bit Billy Slater’s ear after a wild brawl following Sam Perrett’s 26th minute try.
