The 2012-13 NFL season kicked-off in fine style with Mariah Carey and Gwen Stefani performing before the opening match between Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
Carey showed that she's still got it when it comes to big performances while Stefani rocked the crowd with her band No Doubt.
On the field it was the Cowboys who drew first blood for the season, beating the defending champion Giants on their home turf.
