Collingwood Magpies and St Kilda Saints did battle in the first AFL Grand Final replay since 1977.
Both teams headed back to the MCG after an agonising 68-68 draw the previous week, in which Collingwood's wayward kicking at goal allowed St Kilda to stage a last-quarter comeback.
Ironically, it was St Kilda's poor accuracy that hurt them in the replay, with Collingwood triumphing 16.12 (108) to 7.10 (52).
Magpies midfielder Scott Pendlebury won the Norm Smith Medal for best on ground in the grand final.
