SA's Swan back for Alice Springs trek
18:29 AEST Fri Nov 6 2009

Queensland paceman Chris Swan has been recalled to the Bulls' one-day team for next week's clash with South Australia in Alice Springs.

Late-bloomer Swan missed the Bulls' opening four 50-over matches with a groin injury but has replaced batsman Wade Townsend in their 12-man squad for the November 14 game after a successful Sheffield Shield return this week.

He took four wickets in the innings and seven run victory over Tasmania and also blasted a quick-fire 82.

Queensland back up in the four-day competition against the Redbacks in Adelaide, starting on Sunday, with quick Nathan Rimmington replacing Nathan Reardon in the 12.

Rimmington or leg-spinner Daniel Doran are expected to carry the drinks.

Queensland (one-day squad): Chris Simpson (capt), Glen Batticciotto, Ryan Broad, Lee Carseldine, Ben Cutting, Chris Hartley, Alister McDermott, Craig Philipson, Nathan Reardon, Nathan Rimmington, Chris Swan, Scott Walter (12th man to be named).
