Michael Cahill suspended at Doomben
18:17 AEST Wed Mar 19 2014

Premiership leader Michael Cahill has been suspended for seven meetings after being charged with careless riding at Doomben on Wednesday.

Cahill, who only returned from a six meeting suspension two weeks ago, was outed for his effort on Rock Me Fast in the fifth race.

It completed a mixed day for Cahill who earlier won the CBS Air Conditioning Handicap on Tiger Dimejan after a successful protest against Bobby El-Issa first-past-the-post on County Commands.

Cahill can return to the saddle on April 5.
