More frustration for Ingles in Euroleague
09:36 AEST Mon May 13 2013

A disappointing Euroleague basketball finals came to an end for Boomers star Joe Ingles as Barcelona suffered a one-point loss to CSKA Moscow in the third-place playoff.

After losing to Real Madrid in Friday's semi-finals, Ingles had another frustrating night in a 74-73 defeat at London's O2 Arena.

Greek side Olympiacos beat Real Madrid in the final to secure their second straight title.

In what is likely to be his last game for the Spanish club, Ingles had a quiet night in contributing seven points in 16 minutes of game time.

But it took nothing away from what has been a stellar season for the 25-year-old.

With his contract up, it's expected the 203cm forward will land a deal in the NBA next season.

Fellow Australian Nathan Jawai did not feature for Barcelona after lasting just two minutes in the semi-finals due to a foot injury.
