Injured Li Na pulls out of Qatar tennis

Latest Tennis:

Li Na has pulled out of next week's Qatar Open tennis tournament due to the ankle injury she suffered in the Australian Open final.

Qatar organisers say Timea Babos will replace Li in the main draw.

The Chinese star hurt the ankle during her three-set loss to Victoria Azarenka in the Melbourne Park decider.

Venus Williams withdrew this week because of back trouble.

Even with the absence of Li and Williams, the tournament still features nine of the women's top 10.
