A century from former Test batsman Rob Quiney has spearheaded Victoria to an eight-wicket victory in their first limited-overs clash against the England Lions in Melbourne.
Quiney - who was dropped from the Australian side after failing to make an impact in two Tests against South Africa late last year - made 122 from 104 balls as Victoria chased down the touring team's total of 8-225 at the Junction Oval on Thursday.
Peter Handscomb also made an unbeaten 67 from 85 balls as the Bushrangers reached 2-227 with almost 14 overs to spare.
Scott Boland (3-36), Fawad Ahmad (2-30) and David Hussey (2-38) claimed the bowling honours for Victoria.
Gary Ballance top-scored for the tourists with 86 from 96 balls.
The Lions play two more one-dayers against Victoria on Monday and Wednesday before the five-match series against Australia A in Hobart and Sydney.
