Date set for Timani hearing
Russell Jackson
07:19 AEST Tue Nov 27 2012

Wallabies second-rower Sitaleki Timani will face a disciplinary hearing in Bristol on Wednesday over a striking charge which threatens to end his European tour.

Timani is in danger of missing the final game of the Wallabies' tour against Wales in Cardiff on Saturday over the incident.

The 26-year-old appeared to elbow an Italian player in the head during a scuffle in the 13th minute of last Saturday's 22-19 win over Italy.

If Timani is suspended Dave Dennis could start in the second row or Kane Douglas if he has recovered from a knee injury.
