The Hockeyroos bounced back from their London Olympics disappointment by crushing all opposition in a Champions Trophy qualifying tournament in Ireland.
A 6-1 win over the United States in the final on Sunday ensured Australia would have a spot among the top eight teams who play the 2014 Champions Trophy.
The highest-ranked team in the event, the Hockeyroos finished undefeated, scoring a total of 26 goals to just four against in six matches.
"We are very pleased with the win today and our dominant performance proves we truly belong in the Champions Trophy," said coach Adam Commens.
Emily Hurtz was awarded the top-scorer prize for the tournament, finishing with five goals, including a hat-trick in the Hockeyroos' third game defeat of Wales.
