Superstar fullback Ben Barba has won Canterbury's player of the year award.
Barba was handed the honour at the NRL club's annual awards ceremony on Wednesday night.
The award comes as further recognition of an outstanding season for the 23-year-old who last month took out the Dally M medal for the game's best player for 2012.
Barba, who is yet to represent Queensland or Australia, was a key figure in the Bulldogs' charge to the grand final.
He was one of their best in the 14-4 loss to Melbourne Storm in the premiership decider.
The Dogs' presentation night forced James Graham's NRL judiciary hearing for allegedly biting Billy Slater's ear to be postponed until Thursday.
