The Spice Girls stole the show at the London Olympics closing ceremony singing one of their most famous songs Spice Up Your Life.
All five members of the pop group — Victoria Beckham, Gerri Halliwell, Melanie C, Melanie B, and Emma Bunton — sang while balancing on top of glittering black London taxi cabs which sped around the stadium at remarkable speed.
Prime Minister David Cameron and London Mayor Boris Johnson were spotted half-jiving to the performance, much to the delight of Twitter users.
"Boris Johnson and David Cameron throwing shapes to the Spice Girls has just saved the entire closing ceremony," Twitter user @rob_pearson86 said.
One Twitter user noted that even the notoriously sullen Mrs Beckham seemed to be getting into the spirit.
"Plot twist: Victoria Beckham is actually happy for once!" @Jamesseekings_ said.
It is the first time The Spice Girls have performed together since they reformed for a reunion tour in 2007.
