Openers Matt Wade and David Warner cracked half-centuries to guide a first-choice Australian side to an eight-wicket win in Sunday's intra-squad one-day match in Darwin.
Wicketkeeper Wade (58) and Warner (64) put on an 88-run stand in their pursuit of 9-183, with Wade falling to Jason Krejza, who opened the bowling.
Warner was bowled by Nathan Hauritz with victory in sight, but captain Michael Clarke (47 not out) finished the game with three boundaries.
Mitchell Starc (3-25 from 10 overs) did the damage with the ball for Australia, with Cameron White (39) top scoring for the Brad Haddin-skippered opposition.
Australia's next assignment is a limited-overs series with Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates, which begins with a one-off ODI against Afghanistan on August 25.
