Germany's Jonas Reckermann and Julius Brink combined to win gold in the men's beach volleyball after beating Brazilian top seeds Emanuel Rego and Alison Cerutti in the London Games final.

The German duo won a tight contest 23-21 16-21 16-14.

Latvia beat the Netherlands 19-21 21-19 15-11 to take the bronze medal.
