BROKEN - The first world record on the track at the London Games, with Kenya's David Rudisha blitzing the 800m field in a time of 1 minute 49 seconds and 91 milliseconds.
DENIED - A shot at Olympic gold for the Opals and the Kookaburras, with both teams losing their semi-final matches and left to scrap it out for bronze.
