Alexandra Raisman of the US has won the women's floor final at the London Olympics.

Raisman - the leading qualifier - registered a score of 15.6 to take gold, with Romania's Catalina Ponor claiming silver with 15.2 and Russian Aliya Mustafina the bronze with 14.9.

Lauren Mitchell, who was chasing Australia's first Olympic medal in artistic gymnastics, finished fifth with a score of 14.833.
