Australian shooter Dane Sampson completed his Olympic debut with a 37th placing in the men's 50m rifle three positions event on Monday.
The 25-year-old Sampson had previously finished 42nd in the 10m air rifle on the first day of the Games and 48th in the 50m rifle prone.
Niccolo Campriani from Italy won the gold in the 50m rifle three positions, from Kim Jong Hyun from South Korea.
Matthew Emmons from the United States took bronze.
