Singles gold medallist Andy Murray had to settle for silver in the mixed doubles tennis at Wimbledon when he and Laura Robson lost the final to Victoria Azarenka and Max Mirnyi of Belarus 2-6 6-3 10-8 at Wimbledon.

Mirnyi and Azarenka had been the top seeds in the mixed doubles which was returning to the Olympics for the first time since the Paris Games in 1924.
