Police have arrested a man in connection with the theft of Australian Olympic sprinter Andrew McCabe's training kit including his running spikes.
The gear was a taken from a bench while the 4x100 relay runner trained on Friday at a school at the Australian track team base in Tonbridge, outside London.
A 28-year-old man from Tonbridge was arrested late on Sunday night after detectives investigating the theft appealed for help from the public.
The man was questioned and later released on police bail until Friday.
A number of items were recovered although it was not immediately clear if they included running spikes.
