So You Think arrives home
13:22 AEST Fri Aug 3 2012

So You Think has arrived home in Australia from Ireland accompanied by newly crowned champion sire Fastnet Rock.

After completing quarantine the pair will head to Coolmore's Hunter Valley stud where So You Think will begin his new career and Fastnet Rock will continue where he left off last spring.

Ten time Group One winner So You Think left Australia at the end of 2010 after Coolmore bought a controlling interest in the Bart Cummings-trained dual Cox Plate winner from Dato Tan Chin Nam.

He matched his five Australian Group One wins with another five in Europe in the care of champion Irish trainer Aidan O'Brien.

So You Think went out a winner at his final race start in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot in June.

"So You Think is an extraordinary horse and it was a real privilege to have had him here at Ballydoyle on loan from Australia," trainer Aidan O'Brien said on the horse's retirement.

So You Think will stand for $66,000 while Fastnet Rock will command $220,000 after his progeny set the track alight in 2011/12.

His list of Australian winners includes four time Group One winner Mosheen, the unbeaten Atlantic Jewel, the winner of two Group Ones along with Sea Siren, as well as William Reid Stakes winner Foxwedge.
