A pigeon was nearly shot by an arrow at the Olympics after it flew in front of an archery target.
France's Gael Prevost was competing in the men's individual archery eliminations this week when the bird flew in front of the target as he released his arrow and was seconds from being hit.
Prevost almost hit a perfect target and smirked when he realised the pigeon's lucky escape.
His coach, who watched the event unfold through binoculars, appeared be bewildered by the incident.
