Veteran windsurfer Jessica Crisp admits her Olympic medal hopes are in tatters.
The 42-year-old Australian, competing at her fourth Games, finished 17th in both of Wednesday's RS:X races at the Olympic venue in Weymouth.
She's 14th overall and needs a miracle to get back in touch with the leaders.
"If you spoke to me a little while ago it was getting me down," she said.
"It's not the end but unless the whole fleet does something really weird it's pretty much the end of my medal hopes."
Crisp said she was becoming increasingly frustrated with her race starts.
"I'm having the worst starts of my career," she added.
"A minute after the start I'm 400 metres behind and ... it's just bad."
