There's being in shape, then there's something else entirely.
Users of social media have marvelled at the thoroughly bizarre body of swimmer Fabio Scozzoli after he appeared in Olympics coverage yesterday.

The breaststroke competitor appeared to have wings sprouting from below his underarms as he stretched before the 100m event.
The Italian was mocked for his bizarre physique on the social news site Reddit, in a post labelled "Will someone please explain how this is even possible?"
"It's almost like I'm looking at the bottom of a stingray," one user wrote.
"A guy with fins in the olympics? That's...not very fair," commented another.
Fair or not, Scozzoli's unusual appendages did not see him earn a medal in the breaststroke final.
South African Cameron van der Burgh took gold, while Australian Christian Sprenger placed a surprise second.
Scozzoli was not the only Olympian causing online buzz for their remarkable physique.
Kiwi Olympian Greg Henderson posted a photo on Twitter of German cyclists André Greipel and Robert Förstemann showing off their muscular legs.
"You thought Greipel has a big set of legs. There was a quad off in the German camp today. Greipel lost," Henderson tweeted.
