Forget the gold medal and Olympic glory, Australian swimmer Cate Campbell is most excited about the post stamp earned by her podium-topping performance.
Australia Post has produced a stamp of Campbell and her gold medal-winning 4x100m freestyle relay team members, Alicia Coutts, Brittany Elmslie and Melanie Schlanger.
The image shows the four Queenslanders on the Olympic podium with their medals after Saturday night's presentation ceremony.
"I think this was the thing I was most excited about. It was one of the first thoughts that ran through my head after I touched the wall: 'I'm going to be on a stamp'," Campbell told reporters on Sunday.
"... And I get to fly back (to Australia) business class. Terrible, I know, but it's just one of the things that comes from being a gold medallist and it's always something I've really wanted to happen. So to finally achieve that goal is pretty incredible."
Stamps will be made in honour of each Australian gold medal performance during the London Games, available for purchase two days after the respective presentation ceremony.
"I'm absolutely wrapped, I can't wait to see them. I hope I get to have a copy of them," Schlanger said of the stamps.
