Disgraced sports administrator Suresh Kalmadi, who was jailed for nine months on corruption charges related to the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, will attend the London Olympics after receiving court permission to travel.
Kalmadi was allowed by a New Delhi court on Friday to visit London from July 26 to August 13 despite ongoing graft cases against him.
He received an invitation from games organisers as a member of the IAAF council and as president of the Asian Athletics Association.
Kalmadi was the chief organiser of the Commonwealth Games, which were marred by construction delays and graft allegations as its budget ballooned to $US15 billion ($A14.85 billion) from an initial estimate of $US412 million ($A407.90 million).
