Archery may date back around 10,000 years and first debuted at the Olympics in 1900, but the sport was only reintroduced to the Summer Games at Munich in 1972.

Australia has been represented in archery in every Olympics since and is desperately looking to replicate the feats of Simon Fairweather, who won gold at Sydney in 2000.
