Second-rower Mickey Paea has signed with St George.
Sydney Roosters' Mickey Paea will join St George Illawarra on a one-year deal for the 2009 season.

Sydney Roosters forward Mickey Paea will join St George Illawarra on a one-year deal for the 2009 NRL season.

Paea has played eight NRL games for the Roosters this year, and 22 in total, after making his debut for the Roosters in 2005.

The 22-year-old second rower will join a new-look Dragons outfit next season under the guidance of master coach Wayne Bennett.

"Mickey comes from a dedicated rugby league family and we see great potential in him," said Dragons chief executive Peter Doust said.

"He will be a great addition to our squad both on and off the field in 2009."
